Growing up in Ojai, California - a spiritual nest - yoga was always part of my vocabulary (even the mayor was a yoga teacher) but I didn’t truly fall in love with the practice until 1998 while I was playing lacrosse for UCLA. After graduating from UCLA in 2000 with my BA, I knew that I wanted to explore yoga more deeply, and in 2001 I completed my first 200 hr. Yoga Teacher Training course with Integrative Yoga Therapy and Joseph LePage. Since that first training, I have been devoted to my yogic studies with various other teacher trainings, workshops, & retreats with influential yogis like Erich Schiffmann, Saul David Raye, Paul Grilley, Patricia Sullivan, and my *love* Kira Ryder; eventually gaining my ERYT 500 certification with the Yoga Alliance. In 2001 I opened a small yoga studio in England, and also taught in New Zealand before returning to teach classes in my home town of Ojai, with my friends at Lulu Bandhas, the home of the Ojai Yoga Crib. After moving to Central Oregon in 2007, I began teaching yoga in Bend, and in the summer of 2009 Life.Love.Yoga. was born in downtown Sisters. I always bring my enthusiasm for yoga to my students, and hope that their personal practice helps them to remember that life is all about love; and loving life! Off of the mat I am a mom to my dog Trout, a fly-fishing caddy to my husband, an Auntie, a devoted friend and an insatiable traveler

Tara is a Sisters local of 5 years. Yoga is a HUGE part of my life. My passion, dedication and love play a huge factor in my classes. I feel that through Yoga, we are able to access the true self, the "real us". For me it is all about mindfulness and focus. I love the breath work and the meditation that come with the physical practice. I have lived in Central OR since 1994. I moved here to ski, and still have a huge passion and desire for that. I love all that I do. I am inspired by my two young children, and my amazing husband. My yoga journey started in Bend with Ashtanga 15 years ago & I was a very dedicated Ashtangi for 14 years, practicing the primary & secondary series. Have you ever felt it's time to move on? Well so did I, and I enrolled in Red Stone yoga teacher training in Bend OR, with my 64 year old father. WOW, what an amazing experience. Teacher training was life changing, and from that moment on I knew that I was destined to share my love & dedication with those in my community. I love Sisters and all it's people. I am so ecstatic about my journey and hope to draw you into a wonderful experience of chanting, breath and movement. I teach vinyasa, ashtanga and yin classes. Each class is dedicated to the needs and desire of the students that day.

Nancy Magaret lives in the outskirts of Sisters. Nancy's yoga practice began in the late 1990s and she attended her first teacher training program in 2001. She completed her 200 hour certification with Tias Little of Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2005. She founded "The Yoga Path", a yoga studio in Canyon, Texas in 2004, now owned and run by two of her former students. Nancy has a Bachelor's Degree in nursing. She has been studying and/or providing health care for more than 20 years. "My teaching leans toward Iyengar and Vinyasa flow. I also use a lot of Viniyoga (Gary Kraftsow) methods for the deeply therapeutic aspects of that style." Nancy and her husband David moved to Central Oregon in 2006. They embrace the many outside opportunities available in their "back yard". Livin' the dream!
